And your word of the day is ...

Alacrity. Now I pride myself in being a bit of a word geek, but I have never heard this word before. You learn something new every day. Thanks to the Pollacks for introducing me to alacrity. Unabridged (v 1.1)

1.cheerful readiness, promptness, or willingness: We accepted the invitation with alacrity.
2.liveliness; briskness.
